The protection of your personal data is a priority to OUNCS and we endeavour to protect your privacy and security. The role of data protection officer falls under that of IT officer and they shall be responsible for the maintenance of all data held by the OUNCS. This policy outlines how we will comply with the General Data Protection Regulations and Data Protection Act 1998.
What personal data do we collect?
We collect basic information about you including name, email address, college, and membership status. This information is solely used for our records and to help us contact you will relevant information to conservation in Oxford and the wider community. We do not hold any personal data of yours which is within the special data category. We do not log any data or activity using cookies. We only receive this data from you and process it with your consent.
How do we store your data and who is it shared with?
Your data is stored in our personal database which is based in the UK and is only shared with one third party, mailchimp, for the organisation of our mailing list. We will not provide your information to any other third parties without your prior permission.
This policy was updated 10th October 2018 and is in effect and may be updated periodically. We will notify you to any major changes made to this policy by email.
