This year we are launching our JCR Motions Campaign. The society is hoping to create several JCR motion templates, encompassing on-site biodiversity enhancement and measures that can be implemented by JCRs and students to boost wildlife and biodiversity.
The motions will focus on smaller actions and tools that can be used and put into place relatively easily and will make small, but important, increases for wildlife. We then hope to work with E&E officers across the colleges to tailor the motions to specific college situations. Hopefully, we will see some more biodiversity enhancement being put into place across the university!
Our first motions will be focusing on bird feeders, bee hotels and hedgehog houses.
